The Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, there lived three little pigs: the first little pig, the second little pig, and the third little pig.
One day they decided to build their own homes.
Straw House
“I’ll build a straw house. Straw, straw, straw! I want to make it quick,” said the first pig.
So he built a cozy house of straw. He looked so happy.
Wooden House
“I’ll build a wooden house. Wood, wood, wood!” said the second pig. “I want to make it quick, too.”
So he built a cozy house of wood. He looked so happy, too.
Brick House
“I’ll build a brick house. Bricks, bricks, bricks!” said the third little pig. “It’ll take some time, but I want to make it strong.”
So he built a cozy house of bricks. He looked so happy too.
The Big Bad Wolf
In the woods, there lived a big, bad wolf. He was very hungry.
First Pig’s Home
So he came to the first pig’s straw house. He knocked on the door.
“Little pig, little pig, let me come in!” said the wolf.
“No, I won’t! Go away!” said the first pig.
“Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house down.”
And he did.
The house of straw fell down.
“Help me! Help me!” cried the first pig.
The first little pig ran to the second little pig’s house.
Second Pig’s Home
The wolf then came to the second little pig’s wooden house. He knocked on the door.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!” said the wolf.
“No, we won’t!” answered the first and second little pigs.
“Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house down!”
And he did. The house of wood fell down.
“Help me! Help me!” cried the two pigs.
The two little pigs ran to the third little pig’s house.
Third Pig’s Home
Finally, the wolf came to the brick house. He knocked on the door.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in,” said the wolf.
“No, no. You can never come in,” replied the three little pigs.
“Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house down!”
The wolf huffed and puffed…but he couldn’t blow the house down.
“Hahaha. You can’t do that! Our house is strong!” said the three little pigs.
Chimney
So the wolf decided to climb down the chimney to get into the house.
“I’m coming down the chimney to eat you for dinner!” said the wolf.
“Please do,” answered the three little pigs.
But the third little pig was very smart. He boiled a big pot of water in the fireplace.
Hot Water
When the wolf came down the chimney, he fell into the hot water!
“Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!” screamed the wolf.
He yelled and ran away.
“Help me! Help me!”
“Hurray! Hurray!” said the three little pigs.
Lived Happily Ever After
After that, the big bad wolf never bothered them again.
And the three little pigs lived happily ever after in the brick house.
