The Three Pigs
Once upon a time there lived three pigs.
They were friends and lived with their mothers and fathers.
Build New Homes
When the three pigs became 18 years old, they decided to build and live in their own homes.
And so the first pig built a house of straw. It took him one week. The second pig built a house of twigs and sticks. This lasted two weeks. And the third pig built a house of bricks. He spend eight weeks on it.
One Day….
One day as the three pigs were in their homes, a big wolf appeared.
The wolf came to the first pig’s straw house.
“Little pig, little pig, let me in,” said the wolf.
“Not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin,” answered the first pig.
“Then I’ll huff and puff, and blow your house down,” cried the wolf.
And so he did.
Ran Away
The first pig ran to the twig house of the second pig.
The wolf followed the first pig to the twig house of the second pig.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me in,” said the wolf.
“Not by the hair of our chinny, chin, chin,” answered the second pig.
“Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff, and I blow your house down,” cried the wolf.
And so the wolf blew down the twig house.
The Brick House
The two pigs ran into the brick house of the third pig.
The wolf followed them to the brick house of the third pig.
“Little pigs, little pigs, let me in,” said the wolf.
“Not by the hair of our chinny, chin, chin,” answered the second pig.
“Then I’ll huff, I’ll puff, and I blow your house down,” cried the wolf.
The the wolf blew….and blew….and blew with all his might…but the brick house remained undamaged.
And so the wolf went away.
