Economics is the social science concerned with the analysis of commercial activities and with how goods and services are produced.
The field of economics studies how the things people need and want are made and brought to them. It also studies how people and nations choose the things they buy from among the many things they want.

1. Describe the general economy of your country.
2. Does the economy differ in different parts of your country?
3. What are the main industries or businesses of your town or city?
4. What are the largest employers of your town or city?
5. Is the economy the most important issue for people in your town, city or country?
Changes
6. The economy has changed a lot over the past 20 years. Is this correct or wrong? If yes, how has it changed?
7. Is the economy booming, stagnating or staying the same?
8. Have you noticed business cycles? Have you experienced growth and decline or contraction in the economy?
9. Do people where you live want to see economic growth or do they want things to remain the same? Or decline?
10. What will the economy of your town or country be like in the next 10 or 20 years?
